You're competent, and you're tired.
You can hold four moving parts in your head at once, and you can't put any of them down at 10pm.
Return to Baseline is 12 weeks of one-to-one nervous system coaching, built around a 6-week microdosing protocol you run yourself. I'm with you every week.
- 12 weeks
- 2-week preparation, 6-week protocol, 4-week integration
- 10¼+ hours
- of one-to-one: the assessment, then 12 weekly sessions
- By application
- and the screening comes before the form
Why it didn't hold last time
Some of you have microdosed on your own already, and it didn't hold. You took the substance and skipped the practice.
Microdosing changes how the practices land. The practices are what make any of it last. That is the whole argument, and it is why this engagement is mostly not about the protocol.
Nothing in the research on the microdosing guide tests that. It is how the work here is built, and it is why the support runs longer than the protocol.
There are four ways it goes quiet, and most people recognize at least one.
- You reached for a tidy frame. It was all happening for a reason, which was true, and which also meant you never had to feel any of it.
- You rebuilt your life in week two, before anything underneath had formed. The changes came off within a month.
- You decided it was probably nothing. That saved you from having to live differently.
- You told the story. A few times. And the telling quietly became the change.
Those four failures are what the weeks after the last dose exist to catch, which is why the support runs two weeks before the first dose and four after the last one. Those four weeks are the quietest part of the program, with no doses and nothing new to try. They are also where I put the most care, because that is when your practice has to keep going without the protocol to lean on.
What I'm after
That you catch the spike as it happens, and have a way back to baseline that lives in your body.
That is narrower than it sounds, and it is deliberate. I don't promise an outcome, and I can't tell you how close you will get. What I can tell you is exactly what we do, week by week, and exactly what is in your hands on the last day.
The work itself is breath, movement, orienting, and one specific practice each week. The practices draw on Qigong, breathwork, meditation, bodywork and nervous system regulation, and in week 2 we choose the ones that fit you and build your set around them.
What you hold at week 12
Things you can point to.
- A practice set you run without me, built over 12 weeks in your own bodyBreath, body and attention practices, chosen in week 2 for your actual day and adjusted as the weeks run. Twelve weeks of repetition is what makes them yours rather than a list I handed you.
- 12 weeks of your own dataWhat you logged, week by week, in your own words. It stays yours, and it is specific enough to set a Tuesday in week 3 against a Tuesday in week 11.
- A self-rating across areas of your life from week 2, next to the same rating at week 12, so the comparison is yours to makeThe same instrument both times, filled in by you both times. I do not score it and I do not interpret it for you.
- A letter from me naming what changed, what to keep doing, and what to watchI write it after the last session and send it. It names the practices worth keeping, the ones to drop, and the two or three things that tend to slip first once the weekly call stops.
- The protocol you ran, written down as you ran it, with your own notes on what you would changeWhat you took and when, and what sat around it, recorded as it happened rather than reconstructed afterward. It is the document you would need to run this again, or to hand to somebody who asks what you actually did.
I'm not going to tell you it worked. You rate yourself in week 2 and again in week 12, you look at both, and you decide.
Who this is for
Engineers, architects, leaders and founders. Any professional whose stress hasn't let up in years.
- Dinner happens, and you're still in the meeting.
- Saturday on the couch, and your hand keeps finding your phone.
- The people at home get whatever is left.
Week 1 starts there, with what you want back.
I know this group because I'm in it. 20+ years in tech, in nearly every role it has.
If that's not your job but it is your week, apply anyway. I'm not going to pretend I know your field. Nothing in the application rules anybody out on what they do for a living.
Who this isn't for
- Anybody in crisis right now. Call or text 988 in the US, or your local emergency number. That matters more than this page does.
- Anybody who wants me to sit a session somewhere it is illegal. Where it is legal, I can be present, if we have agreed that in writing beforehand.
- Anybody who wants me to tell them what to take. I will talk through the substances, what they are typically used for, and what the research does and does not show, with sources. Choosing what you take, and how much, is yours. Anything touching your prescriptions goes to the person who wrote them.
- Anybody who wants the substance to do the work. That is the version that did not hold last time.
Some medications and conditions need a doctor's clearance first, and a few rule this work out entirely. The application walks through them before it asks you for anything, and nothing you read there is recorded.
How the 12 weeks run
The protocol is 6 weeks. The support around it is 12: 2 weeks of preparation, 6 alongside the protocol, and 4 of integration after.
- PreparationWeeks 1 to 2
- The written intake and the 75-minute assessment come before week 1. Then two 60-minute sessions: week 1 on your intention, your aversions and your fears, and week 2 on your baseline, your practice set and the agreements between us.
- ProtocolWeeks 3 to 8
- A 30-minute check-in each week, one per theme. If a check-in needs an hour, it gets one, and one extra 60-minute session is available in these weeks at no charge.
- IntegrationWeeks 9 to 12
- Four 60-minute sessions after the protocol ends. This is where most of the durable work happens. Week 12 ends with a letter from me.
The six weeks
Your own practices are built around you in week 2, so what a week looks like differs per person.
- 3 and 4Awareness, then GroundingBreath first, then the body, so that noticing you are activated comes with something to do about it.
- 5ActivationThe direction reverses. Practices that raise intensity on purpose, with grounding as the brake.
- 6ExpressionThe week the practices are loud and unrehearsed rather than still. It ends in stillness.
- 7 and 8Resilience, then ExpansionCharge and recovery inside one sitting. Then the protocol ends, and you design the closing yourself: what is finished, what you keep.
The four weeks after
No new material. These are the sessions where what came up gets somewhere to live.
A change has to land in more than one place to hold: in your body, in what you feel, in what you now understand, in what you need from the people around you, in what you actually do differently, and in what you take to matter. It can land in one and stall in the rest, and finding which is most of the work.
What I will not do is hand you my reading of your own experience. The questions are slow ones. Week 12 ends with the letter.
12 scheduled sessions, one a week, by video, camera on, somewhere you can speak freely. Plus a short daily log I read before every call.
What it costs
That is a launch price. It ends December 31, 2026, and from January 2027 it is $2,400, or $2,200 paid in full.
- Two payments of $875
- at signing, and at the start of week 3
- Or $1,500 paid in full
- $250 less
- The assessment, $200
- credited in full, so your first payment is $675, or $1,300 if you pay in full
The discovery call is free, and so is being told this isn't for you.
What I guarantee, and what I don't
I don't promise an outcome. Here is what I do promise, all of it about my own conduct, because that is the part I control.
- I read your data before every call.
- Not skimmed in the first minute. Read beforehand, which is why the check-ins can be 30 minutes.
- I answer email within one business day.
- I do not do calls or texts between sessions unless we have agreed to it ahead of time. If something feels wrong mid-protocol, email me and say so in the subject line. That one goes to the front of the queue.
- Every application gets a reply.
- I read it and answer either way. No silence.
- If I refer you out after the assessment, nothing further is owed.
- That $200 bought 75 minutes of my full attention and a written referral. A referral is not the end of it either, and I would rather you came back if things change.
- Either of us can end it by the end of week 2.
- Everything you have paid beyond the assessment comes back to you, whoever calls it.
- You can stop at any time, for any reason.
- You do not owe me an explanation.
And what I don't
I'm a coach. I'm not a doctor, a therapist, or a licensed mental health provider, and this isn't therapy or medical treatment.
I don't provide, source, sell, transport, or help you get any substance. What I will do is talk through what these substances are, what they're typically used for, and what the research does and does not show. Medication questions go to your prescriber. I won't be present for anything that's illegal where it takes place. Every decision about whether, when, where, with whom, and how much is yours.
Most psychedelics remain controlled substances under federal law. I don't supply, recommend, or encourage their use, and I work with people who've already made that decision for themselves.
In my experience this work is uncomfortable in places, and people often feel worse for a stretch. If what you need is outside what I do, I'll say so and help you find the right person.
I'm not a crisis service. If you're in crisis, call or text 988, or go to an emergency room, and then tell me.
About me
I am Aaron Rueth. I've coached alongside a 20+ year career in tech, and I know the people this is for because I'm one of them.
- Psychedelic Coaching Institute: Microdosing Practitioner Certification
- Psychedelic Coaching Institute: Psychedelic Practitioner Certification, in progress
- Mindvalley: Certified Life Coach
- Holden Qigong Teacher Certification, Tier 1, in progress
I ran this protocol myself and logged it every day. I'll ask the same of you.
Before every assessment call I do my own practice, Qigong and slow breathing, until my own system is quiet. I can't track someone else's nervous system while mine is running fast.
Qigong, meditation, breathwork, and bodywork are what I credit with turning my health around, and with ending years of panic attacks. That's my experience, and I'm careful not to turn it into a claim about yours.
How to start
- 1
The application. Several minutes, across four short screens. It tells me whether a conversation makes sense, and it sets out what rules this work out before it asks you for anything.
- 2
A discovery call. 30 minutes, free. Some people get referred out at this point, and that costs nothing.
- 3
The intake. A written form, returned 48 hours before the assessment so I can read it properly. It takes 30 to 45 minutes or more. Give it the time.
- 4
The assessment call. 75 minutes, $200, credited against the program. A guided conversation through what you wrote. It ends one of three ways, and you get the answer before we hang up or within 48 hours: I want to work with you, I want to work with you once specific things are in place, or I am the wrong person and here is who I would start with.
You'll need to be 18 or older, not in crisis, and willing to answer the intake honestly.
