Somatic Healing
Release stored tension and trauma through body-based practices like TRE, somatic experiencing, and nervous system regulation.
Starting from the body
Somatic work starts with physical sensation rather than the story attached to it. Where is the tension, what is its shape, and what happens when you stay with it for 30 seconds.
TRE, somatic experiencing, and nervous system regulation all work this way. Insight tends to arrive after the body settles.
Why talking sometimes stalls
Stress responses live in the nervous system, and a nervous system stuck in a defensive state keeps producing the same reactions no matter how well you understand their origin. Working with the physiology directly is what moves it.
What sessions involve
Slow attention to sensation, small deliberate movements, and pauses. Tremoring is common in TRE and is the mechanism, not a problem.
This work can surface difficult material. Doing it alongside a qualified therapist is the right call if there is trauma history in play.
